zfsd in latest 9.3 update stream

I saw a reference to zfsd in the latest 9.3 update stream.

Does this refer to a simple http interface to zfs?

Or to the zfsd driver/kernel/module in freebsd?

It's similar to the second one. It used to just be available in TrueNAS but is now included in the FreeNAS build.
