I have put this on hold for to long.... It is time..
I am trying to get a build together. I am about to scrap my old Asrock C2750D4I
And I have been very pleased with it. My Freenas has lived in a SilverStone SST DS380 which is a great case.
I have decided to move on to SuperMicro after reading the guide for hardware I think that I am about to move on to X11SL-F. I guess it would be totally over kill since we use it most for shareing files. I have a camera "buff" in the house and the pictures should be stored somewhere. Why not in a Supermicro with freenas.
I am struggling with the case. Is there a case like the Silverston ds380 for a X11SL-f ?
I can not use the DS380 case since it is min-itx and X11SL-F is Micro-ATX
I need room for at least 8 drives
Can someone kick me in the correct direction?
