Yes. Upgraded to 1.23
Did you have any particular reason for upgrading? I can't find any information about what was changed, so I can't decide whether to upgrade or not -- Supermicro says not to upgrade either BIOS or IPMI firmware unless the new version solves a problem.

None.

I only did so to help and check if I was experiencing the same issue.

Me neither. I always upgrade my firmware and BIOS'es. If they release a new version. Theyve probably fixed something. :)

I wish Supermicro would include Release Notes or Change Notices with its BIOS and IPMI updates. I did contact Supermicro, and they told me that the new IPMI firmware fixes the Java "complaint," but they didn't answer my question about BIOS 1.1r rather than plain 1.1.

Can you go down in version?

running version 01.10 here which I updated when I first got the board early November.

Edit: I can provide you with SMB firmware 1.07 and 1.10 if interested. Just checked and you *can* go down in versions

Temperatures (CPU and PCH) shows just fine with 1.10.

My temps for PCH/VRM are 48/45 at idle. Seems high. I too have the SM X10SL7 with E3 1270 V3.
