Will it FreeNAS? - Core I7 950 - 12gb of DDR3 RAM

Hi, I'm planning to build my first FreeNAS, I'm planning to use my old pc:

• Motherboard make and model: ASUS Rampage III Extreme
• CPU make and model Intel Core I7 950
• RAM quantity 12gb
• Hard drives, quantity, model numbers, and RAID configuration, including boot drives : 2 x Seagate ironwolf 4tb and a boot drive (probably a usb stick)
• Hard disk controllers
• Intel® ICH10R controller :
  6 x SATA 3Gb/s port(s), gray,
  Support Raid 0, 1, 5, 10
  JMicron® JMB363 controller :
  1 x eSATA 3Gb/s port(s), green,
  1 x SATA 3Gb/s port(s), black,
  Marvell® PCIe 9128 controller : *2
  2 x SATA 6Gb/s port(s), red,
• Network cards onboard gigabit: Intel® 82567V-2

I'm planning to use it as a storage backup and if it can handle... edit youtube videos from it

Support Raid 0, 1, 5, 10

Don't use any kind of RAID hardware with FreeNAS. ZFS needs direct access to the drives.

2 x SATA 6Gb/s port(s), red,

These are not well supported. Please review these resources.

so, with the Intel controller sata ports it will work, right?

It'll work ok. Just don't use any on-board RAID features. Configure ZFS mirror when creating zpool.

It'll be too slow for video editing (get a scratch disk SSD on your workstation for that), but fine for storage backups.

a boot drive (probably a usb stick)

get a low end brand name SSD instead, e.g. Kingston A400.

Your biggest risk is down the road when one day your non-ECC RAM will give you bit errors and ruin data on your hard disks.

Be sure to let us know when you are ready to spend some money on your system. We can suggest some good used parts where you can build with server grade gear for around $600 to $800 without storage drives.

the problem is.... I live in Brazil, and these things here are hard to find and really expansive....
