Where is NetData storing all those readings and info?

Is it dropping it on a /tmp folder on the NAS or a /TMP folder on my boot USB key or is it actually just using a bit of extra memory or something?
It seems pretty nice, but I'd hate for it to be slowly killing my 2 USB keys for booting / OS.

Also is there any way it can pull the results of this too?
smartctl -a /dev/ada0 | grep Temperature
smartctl -a /dev/ada1 | grep Temperature
smartctl -a /dev/ada2 | grep Temperature
(etc)

Unfortunately no, hoping my USB drive doesn't get fried.

It's stored in /var/cache which is located on the system dataset.
