Good morning!

I'm looking into creating a VM SSD pool for my ESXi box.
The thought is to use one of the RaidSonic ToughArmor 5.25" to 2.5" (something like this MB998SK-B)
This is going to be for home use/lab. My thought is to go for something along the line of 250GB or 500GB per SSD.
I would like to start with 1 or maybe 2 mirrors and expand when needed.

So my questions are:
  1. What SSD do you suggest?
  2. Is there some to avoid?
Like I stated above, this is for home use, and I do not know how many VM's is going to be stored yet, so this will be a trial and error kind of a journey.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, and please do point out things that I might have forgotten!
