What Cronjobs should I set up to keep my system healthy?

Sorry if this has been asked already. I looked but haven't found much info.

Just got freeNAS setup on my new home server. Running a single 3TB WD red at the moment, which I will replace with a Z1 or Z2 at some point once I save up for new drives.

In the meantime, should I set up SMART checks, disk defrags, or anything of that nature to run on a regular basis?

Any recommended system packages I should install to track system health?
