Dear community hello!

First post here and this should be quite straightforward.

I have been using an old FreeNAS distribution for quite some time now and have decided to eventually move on. I had been using FreeNAS primarily for its webserver feature.

After installing 9.2.1.7 I don't find anymore in the list of services a webservice. Is this now called differently, not supported or maybe a feature treated as a plugin? Couldn't find any info in the official pdf.

I basically need to enable directory listing for a mount point and release the folder's content in the context of an https server (like MS IIS) so as a 3rd party application can access it in a manner of a file repository.

Any link or how-to available over this?

Thank you in advance.

P.

You can run a custom web server in a jail, but it's not possible to utilize the build-in web server.

Yeah.. no 9.2.1.x isn't scheduled to get webdav. That's a 9.3 exclusive feature at the moment, and I would be surprised if they chose to roll out another 9.2.1.x release.

Thanks a lot to all for the replies. I can wait until 9.3 reach us since in the mean time I have reverted to a VM snapshot of my older installation.
