VM won't load into installation. ACPI error

This video below is not my video. But I have the exact same problem. It seem like I'm not the only one with this problem.
So here it is:
Skip to 5:06 to see the error.
I did updated my system to 11.1U6
Any help would be greatly appreciate !!!!

Yes. I am using ubuntu 18. But the person who made the video also tried with window and other OS. Is there a fix for this or is this just something we'll have to deal with ?

Use Ubuntu 16 with FreeNAS 11.1-U6, problem fixed in 11.2 betas.

So if I want to stay on 11.1U6. Then I should just go with ubuntu 16. And upgrade 11.2 if i want to use ubuntu 18 ?
