VM install

ok so i create a vm/zvol and everything as soon as i get into system and reboot it sends me right back to the installation or to a shell if i remove the cd-rom media

im so confused as to why the installation will not stick???

You're creating separate storage drives for the boot disk and data disks correct? And installing to the boot disk? Does it list both drives as possible install locations?
