/usr/libexec/save-entropy: cannot create /dev/null: Permission denied

I am getting the error message:

/usr/libexec/save-entropy: cannot create /dev/null: Permission denied

E-mailed to me every 10 minutes or so. Can anyone point me in the direction of what's going on?

Sounds like a potentially corrupt FreeNAS installation. I'd backup your config file try a different USB stick with a fresh installation of FreeNAS.

Thanks, I will give that a try.

It's coming from cron it seems, not sure if that points to anything.
