users timed out

I am using FreeNAS on an internal network and I want to leave users logged in but I find that I get timed out. How or which settings do I change to keep me logged in all the time.

Are you talking about the web interface or a share?

Sorry, yes a windows share, on the windows machine I enter the user and password tick the remember me box and it works fine. When I go back to the machine the next day I have to log back in even though the remember me box was ticked, it is ok using a QNAP raid, so I think it's the FreeNAS software.

Are you using Active Directory or creating users on FreeNAS itself?

I have created two users on FreeNAS, being new to this, what is meant by Active Directory? I have created CIF's

Instead of browsing to the share and then entering the User Name / PW; have you tried mapping a drive?

Credential manager should help avoid this
