'Used' reporting in GUI differs from Shell

There seems to be a difference between the data returned from a ZFS LIST command in the shell and the data in the 'Reporting' graphs. This is more noticeable where a volume has a child dataset because the GUI does not roll up the usage from the children. In fact the GUI seems to report the REFERENCED variable rather then the USED variable, which is fine if there are no 'children', but frustrating if you want to view the top level / total space used.

Does anyone have a work-round that would report USED in the GUI?
