Is this normal? I'm going from 9.2.1.2 to 9.3. Using GUI upgrade.

It's been going at it for over half an hour.

It hasn't rebooted and stuck on saying 33% 2/3 Extracting Firmware.

Last few lines from console:
Code:
Jul 12 17:17:40 huge root: Bigsize = 1048576, medsize = 32768, minsize = 512
Jul 12 17:17:40 huge root: + rm -f /mnt/huge/.freenas/tmp/trampoline.img
Jul 12 17:17:40 huge root: + gpart set -a active -i 2 da0
Jul 12 17:17:40 huge root: + upgrade_cleanup
Jul 12 17:17:40 huge root: + find /mnt/huge/.freenas -type f -exec truncate -s 0 {} +
Jul 12 17:17:40 huge root: + exit 0
Jul 12 17:17:40 huge root: + saved_ec=0
Jul 12 17:17:40 huge root: + [ 0 -ne 0 ]
Jul 12 17:17:40 huge root: + rm -f /tmp/install_worker.XXXXXX.cKrhI8W2
Jul 12 17:17:40 huge root: + exit 0

That's a pretty long time for the upgrade to be running.. Have you looked at the local console?

Also without some hardware specs there's no way someone is going to tell you much of anything...

It appeared that it did upgrade the flash drive, but it didn't keep the config, so I did a clean install of 9.3 and reloaded my config from there.

So far so good!

And yah, I need to put my system in the specs. How do you do the "Show: My Main System" thing in the signature?

Edit your sig and add it, but it's not useful for many because it doesn't work on tapatalk. Signatures aren't displayed on tapatalk. So it's recommended that you provide the info in your post. Even if you put it in your sig, the regulars will probably say "where's the system info" since many use tapatalk.

Same goes for the regular mobile version of the forum.

So I had the exact same thing happen with 9.2.1.7 but I logged in with IPMI and the system was rebooting into 9.3 and everything seemed to be installed. I reloaded the config via the GUI, but I can't unlock encrypted volumes:

Code:

I think I had the same issue with the encrypted volumes. I had to boot back into 9.2 just to retrieve the keys. But I think the OP has different issues afoot.

To the OP, can you tell us what you did to solve the issue so others can fix their stuff too?
