Update Server could not be reached.

This is the message I get when trying to test for an update.

When I "host update.freenas.org" I get:
an IP address of : 201.51.186.23.

So my network is OK.

Anyone else having this problem?

Yes, I am getting the same message. I have not looked into it any further, though. I am running FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201506292332 and have not checked for updates since July last year.

Woke up this morning and tried again.

Wonderful. Someone has done something to make it work.
