Hello
Im not sure if this is the correct section for this issue
I'm having a freenas box on a dedicated machine which is running fine so far. But this morning I experienced an unexpeceted reboot of the machine in the night.
I've checked dmesg, last and all other logs known to me for any kind of hint what have caused the reboot, but I can't find any helpfull information.
The machine also got an IPMI which shows no anomaly or voltage drop during that time.
/var/log/messages just shows the startup of the machine
May 28 01:45:59 freenas syslog-ng[1911]: syslog-ng starting up; version='3.5.6'
May 28 01:45:59 freenas Copyright (c) 1992-2014 The FreeBSD Project.
For me it looks like someone just cut the power for a second, but the system is hooked up to a UPS and the IPMI shows no anomaly
System Specs:
Supermicro Board, 32 GB ECC RAM
8x6TB WD-RED Disks
Build: FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201602031011
Platform: Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU C2750 @ 2.40GHz
The only "change" I did in the last few days was using a ISCSI Target on the machine.
Maybe anyone of you guys have an idea where I can find more information on unexpeceted reboots, maybe some logfile not known to me has helpfull informations.
Thanks
