I tried the nas4free forums but it doesn't seem that responsive so I am going to try my luck here.

version: 9.2.0.1 - Shigawire (revision 972)

My boot drive is in raid 1. One of the hdd is failing so I replaced it.

When I go to gui, I can't seem to create 3 partitions. Here's the info:

Under Disks|Software RAID|RAID1|management

It looks like this

Under Disks|Software RAID|RAID1|tools: (Screen shot below)

rebuilding root

rebuilding boot

rebuilding swap

I'm only able to rebuild root. For swap and boot I get the following message

`geom: No such provider: ada0p3.` for the boot drop down menu

`geom: No such provider: ada0p3.` for the swap drop down menu

So this is what I deduce. ada0 the hdd I just replaced only have one partition. I am unable to create 3 partition that mirrors ada1.

This is really critical as the machine is only sitting on one os drive. If that drive die the machine will die.

thanks

You'll have to stick with the nas4free forums as that is the correct operating system and has nothing to do with FreeNAS.
