Unable to administrate server (SSH/Web gui/physical), but SMB is up

I am trying to login to my machine through the web gui but the connection times out after a while. Doesn't even let me use the CLI (on the machine physically) or SSH.

SSH does let me login, but nothing more happens after the "Welcome to FreeNAS"-message.

Any idea how I can solve this without force shutdown of the machine? I would rather not do that.

SMB works fine and I can access all the files normally.

When I try to load the CLI through the machine itself:

Can you hit control+c (^c) in the console screen when it's hung after typing (9)? Might be middleware getting hung up.
I only see this when I try ctrl+c:

I saw some error messages related to upsmon not reading the configuration file. Is that what you mean by "middleware"?

Can you give some details about what services may be enabled?

Very little (can't remember which, but standard applications). But one thing is new, and that is the UPS service. I also get some error messages related to that. Could that be something?

I tried to disconnect the USB to the UPS and also tried to connecting it to another USB-port, but no success.
