Hi,
I have a mirror of intel P4510 2TB drives, but would like to expand the capacity a bit.
I am using this mirror only to host virtual machines.
I know that for normal spinning disks mirrors are reccommended because of the increased iops you get, but I am wondering if the same would apply to ssd's - in particular such high performing disks like mine in terms of iops.
So I am wondering if the experts here would deem it okay to change my setup to RAIDZ1?
I know I have to add at least one extra disk.
But this is also more a question in general - does the mirrors are best for vms also apply for ssd's/nvme drives?
Thanks in advance for any thoughts/answers.
