Well I was really looking forward to ordering my Mini XL+ from Amazon (with free Prime shipping) since they are sold by iXsytems and shipped by Amazon; however, when I was about to pay for the 32GB RAM upgrade, the 10Gb NIC, along with the L2ARC and ZIL upgrades (sold and shipped by iXsystems), there was going to be a $71.99 shipping charge for ground shipping. One the four items had free shipping, but the other three had a shipping charge of $22 each! $66 plus tax equaled $71.99! These four items can easily be put in one small box for a fraction of the shipping charge.

To put things into perspective, I could order a fully populated Mini XL+ loaded with 8 HDDs and the same exact accessories directly from the iXsystems website for only $80. A sales rep with the company said she should ship it for $50. Just bringing this up to the TrueNAS staff.

Hi @Cloudified I'm sorry about that. I'm working on updating the shipping profile for Amazon as we speak. The way it is supposed to work is if you buy one item it just adds a very minimal amount based on weight for additional items (if anything). Can you try adding the items to your cart again and see if the issue has been resolved?

Hi Josh, I can confirm the same. Now the memory is saying that it's no longer available. It had free shipping before, so not sure if that's related to what you did on your side. Thanks man.

Yeah, I had it in my cart to troubleshoot and it told me it's out of stock too. Let me double-check and make sure that's the case and I didn't inadvertently cause that.

Update: I did notice that if I remove the memory that the shipping drops to $22 total for the other 3 items. If I buy the memory by itself then there is no shipping charge. If I buy them all together it’s $71.99. It’s weird.
