Hello! first of all excuses for my english!

I recently installed Octoprint on my truenas in a jail for my 3D Printer. all works fine. the 3d Printer works and is recognised via USB.
now i found my old logitech c922 webcam wich i also want to use on octoprint. when i plug it in #usbconfig command shows the webcam connected via USB but i can't seem to get it to work inside octoprint jail.

strange thing is. InOctoprinti connect to the printer via /dev/cuaU0 wich can't see in #usbconfig. In #usbconfig it only shows /dev/ugenx.x

anyone got any ideas how to make it work?

Maybe you will find something in dmesg. perhaps start with dmesg | grep USB

Hi,

Can I ask how you got octoprint installed and working with usb please?

I’ve tried one guide but that covers freebsd and some of the options are not in TrueNas (latest version). When I try the usbconfig it comes up with an error ‘no matching or lack of permission’.

Cheers

Hi! I'm dealing with the same issue, i'm trying to make my usb webcam working within Octoprint installed in a jail. Did you solve the issue?
