I am not familiar with that motherboard, but based upon its published specs I don't think it will be very good for running TrueNAS. The 8Gb max memory will severely limit your performance options. Also, I would think that 10 hours to perform an installation would indicate that the software is not happy with the hardware.

But if you want to give it another go, I suggest the following:
1. Make certain the bios has been updated to the latest available - there could be an issue with limited UEFI support
2. In the bios, turn off every feature you will not be using - including the wi-fi, bluetooth, sound, all power saving features, all enhanced usb features, etc. (You can try turning power saving back on after you have a stable install - but be aware that TrueNAS does not play nice with advanced "deep-sleep" power saving.)
3. Use a small SSD for your boot device. USB sticks are unreliable for boot devices. If you must use a USB stick, just be aware that they are the root causes of many boot problems - maybe try a different USB stick. That motherboard has 5 sata ports, so even if you use one for the boot device, you will still have 4 ports for disks.

If none of these ideas help, then I would try a different motherboard. Good luck.
