Transmission jail - storage issue

Hi All,
I recently moved all my jails to my 120GB SSD pool which is more than plenty. Now I have a dilemma with downloading large files. Even though I configure Transmission to download to my large 12TB pool, it will first max out and completely fill my SSD and fail to download. Looks like it downloads to its local jail then moves it over.

Anyway around this?

Sounds like you will need more than 120GB for Transmission downloads. Yes it (as default) downloads to the jail and moves it over most likely. Seems like you could mount a dataset from your main pool into the transmission temp download directory and circumvent this issue that way.

You can use the incomplete-dir and incomplete-dir-enabled settings to say where to store partial downloads.
