Transmisison app with PIA OpenVPN and port forwarding

Has anyone managed to get Transmission working via Truecharts app with PIA OpenVPN and port forwarding working? I'd really like to run Transmission directly on my TrueNAS Scale, but while you have a choice of VPN sidecars you can integrate, there does not seem to be a way to enable port forwarding through VPN.

I don't have your exact setup, but OpenVPN/PIA/port forwarding runs without issues for me (on a non-TrueNAS system) in a docker container.

I would be interested to see this ported to TrueCharts.
