Hi,
offsite rsync backups to my freenas running only max. 1h per day. So I want to reduce the idle power consumption. Because the syslog is written to the harddisks, they won't spin down.
Can I use an adittional USB-Thumb to store the syslog or should I use a small SSD? Which size is recommended?
Thanks
