Switch errors/warnings?

Hello. This isn't really FreeNAS related but I know there are some networking gurus in this community, so here goes...

I have a Dell Power Connect 5324 and when I was browsing through the web interface I noticed the following in the log file. I was wondering if I should be concerned about any of these messages.

What's connected to that port? If it's a PC, that could be just when the machine goes to sleep and wakes up. If it's something like your FreeNAS box that's supposed to be always-on, you might want to investigate further.

Hello and thanks for the reply.
The port is connected to a PC. When I'm on the PC the internet drops out from time to time.
Is the problem likely to be in the switch or in my PC somewhere?
Nothing else seems to loose connection and it looks like the logs support that.

hard to say.. you can try the usual stuff, replace cable, use different port, etc.. But you'll probably want to talk to Dell or a networking support site if you need to get into the weeds of troubleshooting..

OK thanks.
I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something serious.

I will try switching out the cable and see if using my Intel NIC solves the problem, then go from there.
