SVN - which options do i have?

I would like to setup an SVN server in a jail which is to be brought online. I would like to have a GUI to configure the server, permissions to the repositories and if possible also schedulable dumping/backuping of the repositories.

which options do i have? what can you recomment? im currently thinking about websvn.

didnt have time so far. i would still do PHP, apache web server, webSVN at the moment. I was hoping someone had a better programm than webSVN to recommend.

I think the best combination is Apache (WebDAV) + SVN + Redmine.

Are you willing to look outside the scope of SVN, such as GIT or Mercurial?

Can't say I've ever used SVN in anger so don't have any recommendation for it. For GIT, I can recommend GitLab. It pretty much covers all your requirements, can import from SVN repositories and other GIT instances.
