Any definitive statements that can be made re: said controller are appreciated.
If it varies much or depends, a mini matrix or a simple recap (with your level of certainty) would be appreciated.

If I'm out to lunch (i.e. answers are obvious, I need to refer to release notes or research the forums more), short answers will be accepted(HAHA).

Seriously, driver is 'more than just past Alpha' and is ok for production for this mobo controller?

My view is:

"Some people seem to be using it with success, others can't use it. So it may or may not work. I wouldn't recommend buying it if you are expecting it to work and I wouldn't use it in a business environment at this time."
