I am trying to get rid of this error when executing wget in a jail.
/lib/libc.so.7: version FBSD_1.6 required by /usr/local/bin/wget not found
I followed steps for upgrading the jail from 11.1 to 11.3 and that worked nicely. But original problem still persisting.
I am open to suggestions.
EDIT: in meantime my post being approved for public display, I see that I am able to go in /usr/ports/ftp/wget and make clean ; make not returning errors this time. Before jail upgrade I was facing some error with make. Trying out recompiling that package see if that helps. But I was under impression pkg remove wget ; pkg install wget would of helped in first place. Anyway I am always up to learn something new.
I was not able to do make install without first doing pkg remove wget.
OHH LOL wow!!! wget is finally working! I am leaving this thread here in case anyone else having issues with libc
