SMB Share doesn't show Actual Disk Usage

I have setup 2x NVMe SSDs in mirror pool for a simple use case of shared storage destination for my team @office but for some reason SMB Share does not show the drive usage metric out of total available capacity.
I'm attaching 2 screenshots if I was unable to explain my problem.
Please suggest any changes or tune ups to solve this.
Thanks a lot in advance.

Did you share the top-level dataset? I often read the recommendation that you shouldn't do that.
Create a dataset and share that. Put some files in there and see if the red bar works for you. I misunderstood your problem / share configuration then. I assumed it was an empty dataset that did not include the already used 178 GB.

The NAS pool view is "pool space"

The windows view is estimated "share space"

They are correlated, but not the same. The assumption is that many users are using the same NAS pool with many different shares.

This is a simple share, with no specific restrictions on share size. And I know it's not recommended, but my share is from pool level and not dataset level. In Core, this issue was never there, the share always showed that consumption graph on windows for the exact same share on the same machine.

2 months back had to shift to scale because of some flaky driver issues on 25gbe NIC in TrueNAS Core which was no-problem for Scale.

So, the there is 180GB used in the pool.. is that not the case?

Are there old snapshots?

Yes there are old snapshots stored on another pool for 4x 10tb Exos in Mirror.
And yes 180gb is used in the pool
