Hi,
My transfers speed with Freenas on SMB as been so-so, I can only get about 70MB/s when reading and writing from Windows but if I make an iperf test here are my results:
Freenas as server:
Server listening on TCP port 5001
TCP window size: 64.0 KByte (default)
------------------------------------------------------------
[ 4] local 192.168.1.84 port 5001 connected with 192.168.1.50 port 50203
[ ID] Interval Transfer Bandwidth
[ 4] 0.0-20.0 sec 2.17 GBytes 929 Mbits/sec
Windows as server:
Client connecting to 192.168.1.50, TCP port 5001
TCP window size: 32.8 KByte (default)
------------------------------------------------------------
[ 3] local 192.168.1.84 port 32900 connected with 192.168.1.50 port 5001
[ ID] Interval Transfer Bandwidth
[ 3] 0.0-20.0 sec 2.19 GBytes 940 Mbits/sec
I should be getting more? When my freenas server was Windows 10 I was always getting >100Mb/s.
The first Gb is always the fastest at 105Mb/s and after that it's slowing down to 65-70Mb/s (see screenshot).
Any hint?
