Slow SMB vs iperf results

Hi,

My transfers speed with Freenas on SMB as been so-so, I can only get about 70MB/s when reading and writing from Windows but if I make an iperf test here are my results:

Freenas as server:
Server listening on TCP port 5001

I should be getting more? When my freenas server was Windows 10 I was always getting >100Mb/s.

The first Gb is always the fastest at 105Mb/s and after that it's slowing down to 65-70Mb/s (see screenshot).

Any hint?

You should take a look at the forum rules. For all we know, you have a half dead drive in a system running on a core2 cpu at < 1.2GHz.
