Is it just me or is sickrage really very slow? I have to wait hours (at times) for shows to get added and then an entire batch goes to a "?" instead of "xx/yy". The name of the show is as per TheTVDB and while "add existing shows" the correct show was selected. I am not so sure about sickrage performance but it seems to be very slow even while browsing through GuI.

It worked fine for me first. then I changed the jail folder to include more data in various folder. Now I have issues where it won't update. the loading circles keep going round and round. When I add shows Indexers time out and if im able to add them the metadata doesnt load and it just shows a ?.. really sad about a good plugin not working as it should..

I think I have about 120 shows. Its definitely not slow for me.

Personally, I did a manual install inside a jail so I could have couch potato, sickrage, and nzbget all accessible via one hostname/IP. And it makes configuring each one easier because everything is localhost for communication...

well I uninstalled/reinstalled the plugin. Seems to have worked. Does adding more than one folder in the "Add existing show" make a difference?
For eg my directories are set as
Z:\Series
Z:\Cartoons
Z:\Science

As of now I have just added Z:\Series and everything is working fine. Would adding the other 2 cause any issues? Coz that's what I can remember as the difference when the sickrage got Sick.. :P

That's something I don't know. I have all my TV shows in a directory called 'TV'. I don't split them up except by name of show

I use multiple 'core' directories. No slow down. It will happily place things where asked.

Using only 1 directory under the scanner things seem to be working quick.. all shows were added quickly and now the sync is on.. will let u know the performance on adding other directories :)

So I was able to add all the directories and scan the various shows without any slowdowns.. I just have 1 issue now. I have a few combined episodes (eg ep 10-11-12) renamed in the required format and plex has no problems reading them. However sickrage isn't able to scan them as a combination of episodes; just assumes the first episode exists (in this case 10) and shows the rest (11&12) as missing. Any workarounds?

eg of the format : Star Wars The Clone Wars - 1x01 & 1x02 & 1x03 - Ambush & Rising Malevolence & Shadow of Malevolence

In your settings | post processing | episode naming, match the multi episode style. Seems to pick it up then. There may be other ways.. but that one works for me.

My style is 'Repeat' So I make sure files are named: Season 02\Show Name.S02E03E04E05.Ep Name.ext

Plex also likes that style.
