The GUI is reporting that one of my SSDs may not be able to do a SMART self-check.

CRITICAL

Device: /dev/da7 [SAT], not capable of SMART self-check.

However, when I do a manual test via the GUI, it works fine and the S.M.A.R.T Test Results are reported as expected (though not much information there, could be a little more verbose imo) but that's where smartctl comes into play, which also works fine with this drive.

This occurs every now and than with that drive only. I can dismiss the error, but it comes back after some time - sometimes after weeks.
Suggestions? Is my HBA dying?

This thread somehow ended up in the legacy subforum. If a helping mod hand could shift this in the right sub, that would be splendid!
