Rsync to Windows and File Permissions

Hi,

Firstly, thanks to everyone who is involved in developing this truly amazing piece of software. I am blown away by how good it is!

OK, now to my question. I have set up Rsync to backup folders to a Windows Machine. Everything copies without an issue but the files become read only on the Windows machine. This becomes annoying when trying to do anything with them.

When I look up the Properties of the files, under the Security Tab there are only 2 users listed - Everyone and SYSTEM. Everyone has Read Only permissions and SYSTEM has Read\Write. (Please see image below)

How can I modify this so Everyone has Read\Write or even better, full control of the files?

Sorry everyone, I figured it out. I had created a Test folder on my FreeNAS box to how this works, but had not shared it and set the permissions. Therefore it was inheriting the restricted permissions from the parent causing the issue. It's now working as expected.

Love my FreeNAS!
