Rollback of zvol to restore VM to previous state? breaks replication system?

Hi all,

So I have a (byhve) VM, backed by a zvol of course. I shut the VM down, and took a ZFS snapshot of the zvol. Then I did some experimental crap in the VM and now I want to rewind my VM to the state it was when I took that snapshot.

I assume that using the 'Rollback' button is the thing I want, but reading the docs here has me worried:

"Rollback is a potentially dangerous operation and causes any configured replication tasks to fail as the replication system uses the existing snapshot when doing an incremental backup."

Does this mean that invoking rollback will break zfs send/recv from figuring out what needs to be backed up? (I don't actually use FreeNAS's replicatation UI, but I do use zfs send/recv manually.)

Thanks.
