Hi all,
Two Truenas Core 12.0 U1.1 boxes.
I need to replicate (pref using tasks) from one TrueNAS system to the other for some datasets, and visa versa for the other.
Obviously i'd like this to be automated and not use "root".
I've created an account "replicate" on both boxes.
The account is allowed to ssh, but i want it to work with just keys and no passwords.
This should be easy but whenever I try and set up any ssh connection using the GUI i can't connect.
I have created ssh pub keys for each replicate account but just can't seem to get this to work - its the ssh connection that is failing whenever i set up a replication task (thus i can;t complete the setup in the gui).
Can someone show me how this is done on a modern TrueNAS system, the old FreeNAS guides gloss over quite a bit or options are not available.
I know i will need to give these accounts zfs permissions once the ssh connection works.
