Replication always fails in the middle

I have two systems, Home-storage (11.2-U7, encrypted) and offsite-storage (11.2-U8, encrypted). Home-storage replicates once per day to offsite-storage. offsite-storage died and had to be freshly installed. Before it died, replication always worked flawlessly. To speed up initial replication, both machines are connected via 1GbE LAN.

I removed the old replication task and set up a new one. Replication starts as expected but fails after several hours, usually after around 500-800 GB out of 5 TB. It is autmatically restarted, but fails again.

Things I have found on the forum and the internet, but didn't work:

- Removing all snapshots and creating a new snapshot task
- Creating a manual snapshot
- Rebooting
- Removing and creating a new replication task

How can I figure out what the problem ist? The only clue I get is this email:

Hello,
The replication failed for the local ZFS Home-storage/home-storage-private while attempting to
send snapshot manual-20200221 to 192.168.13.129
