Replace drive on Z2 with not space for new drive

Hey guys

I have Z2 with and one drive is marked as faulty. Unfortunately I have no space for a new drive. I read here in the forum, that I should NOT take the drive offline, but on the FAQ is written, I should take it offline?

Should I mark the drive as offline and replace it or should I replace the faulty one with the new one?

The drive is faulted but the status is DEGRADED. Does it mean that the drive is already offline?

What is the right way in a Z2 - take the drive offline and change it? Or do nothing and just change the drive? Or another way?

Follow the replacement instructions (ignoring the step to take the drive offline (as it's already faulted and offline).
