RAM is not filled completely (~1GiB is always free)

Hi,
another noob question:
I observed the dashboard for quite a while. I noticed that my RAM (32GB total) is never filled completely, there is always 0.9-1.1GiB free. Is this supposed to be so and if so: Why? I thought TrueNAS always tries to use all of it.

Entirely filling RAM is not the best way to manage things... if the system asks for a bunch of available pages and always needs to first free some pages in order to fill the request, your system is going to grind to a standstill. Using 31 of 32GB is "using it all".
