I was out of town for a long weekend. I logged into Truenas to prep for my migration from core to scale yesterday. I saw a critical alert "Pool JAD01-Pool state is on-line: One or more devices has experienced an error resulting in data corruption. Applications may be affected." I have spent several hours trying to figure out what was going on. I don't believe that I have real issue but just a file that is corrupted on the drive. The file in question is a backup file from my laptop. However, I am seeking advice going forward. I should be able to delete that file & just backup my laptop to fix this issue? Is there anything else that I should do?
Steps Taken Thus Far:
1. Ran SMART test on both drive both short & long. No issues were reported.
2. Looked at the drive status. Yesterday both drives were showing 2 checksum error. All errors now have cleared.
3. Check & reseated the SATA connections.
4. Ran zpool status -v which pointed to my laptop backup.
