Physical CDROM passed through to a jail?

Is there a way to pass a physical cd rom into a jail? More importantly to virtual box plugin?

I have an os i want to install that needs a physical cdrom for its purpose.....



is it possible?

Why not make a ISO of it with something like magic disk: http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-magicdisc-overview.htm it allows you to mount a ISO as a disk in windows or make a ISO from a physical disc using windows too.

while that might work for some... I need direct access to the physical cdrom in the freenas server in the jail and in my phpvirtualbox virtual machine. the reason is im going to run a headless vortexbox install in the vm..... it needs access a physical cd-rom for automated ripping....

Oh ouch....i gotcha man. Ummmm i cant really add anymore input unfortunately hopefully someone else has some better info on this.
