Hello,
I want to update my TrueNAS to a hard drive.
The method I have chosen is as follows:
- There is a hard drive on my own network
- It is FAT formatted, connected to a router on my network, and available on the network via FTP
- I then use the "Cloud Sync Task" option in TrueNAS to backup to this drive. I know it's a local drive, but I can still select it as the destination because I know it's IP address.
A dry run of the above seems to work well.
But an actual run does not work - it says "permissions denied" for each file in the log file.
The files on my TrueNAS are owned by root and root should have "full access" to them. But I don't know what user the Cloud Sync Task" is trying to run as?
Anyone know how to fix this?
