I like to be a backup destination for my friends and family who are computer illiterate. I use Crashplan for this, but it never worked well and will only get worse now.
I need a program that is: (1) simple to use client-side; (2) encrypted such that I cannot read my friend's backups; and (3) good clients for MacOS and Windows.
It seems Urbackup would not work because I can read all backups.
So far, it looks like Duplicati will work. Does anyone have any opinions on it or suggestions for alternatives?
edit: The following link seems to have tons of useful info in an easy to read format: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Synchronization_and_backup_programs
edit2: It looks like Bacula is the best choice for me. Going to research it now. It has: (1) Encrypted Storage; (2) Encrypted Transfer; and (3) Windows and Mac clients (I think).
