Owncloud 8.02 - Cannot download files using external storage plugin on local drive

Hi,

I am a new FreeNAS user, recently converted from Nas4free. I have successfully installed the owncloud plugin, and it works as expected for nearly every use. The one thing I cannot do is download the files that are stored using external storage plugin (on local HDD).

• The files are mounted in /mnt/media (i.e outside owncloud root)
• Using external storage provider plugin I am able to access the folders through the webclient
• Downloading the files results in error "/download.php was not found on this server."
• Viewing text files in client DOES work
• Downloading / syncing files using windows client DOES work
• Setting file r/w to 777 does not fix the problem
• Downloading files stored in regular owncloud folders DOES work

My guess is that is has something to do with a problem synologt users are also experiencing, where the owncloud cannot acess files outside document root. (https://forum.owncloud.org/viewtopi...80459&hilit=download.php+was+found+not#p80459)
I do however not get similar error messages as they do..

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot/fix this further?
