Running 8.0.2
When I set up my zfs volumes, it used the device names, ie aacd11p2
I had a drive fail, my card pulled it, and the system froze.
upon reboot, the system re-labeled the drives wrong, and hosed my array.
ie aacd11 failed, upon reboot aacd12 became aacd11... ugh..
Anyway,
I would like to avoid this insanity in the future by using gptids.
I can only seem to get gptids to turn on if I check "force 4K sectors" when I create a volume.
I've tried various combinations of kern.geom.label.gptid.enable, and kern.geom.label.gpt.enable in my loader.conf
no dice.
Any Ideas?
