SOLVED Not populating Active Directory users

I have a FreeNAS 11.2 server set up and joined to the domain, idmap backend rid. (Is autorid preferred to rid?) wbinfo -u lists users, but nothing populates in dropdown menus for permissions.

What happens if you just type the user or group name into the permissions box in the format of <domain>\<user or group>?

As long as the wbinfo command is showing the users for your domain it should work correctly.
