It would be very helpful to have the information the forum rules ask you to include, namely the system specs.

Still, it's clear that your boot device is not a happy camper. Any sort of useful suggestion will have to wait for more info...

I suggest that you get a new good quality USB stick and make a new boot drive. The boot up you system and, if you have one (hope that you do), import your saved configuration file. If you don't have one you will have to recreate your shares, etc.

Come back and tell us how you get on.

It might be interesting to discuss if you really need/benefit from a "cache drive" and if you can switch that SSD to a boot drive for reliability. USB sticks have a limited life as boot drives.

so I was planning to use a new USB but the problem is I didn't save a configuration file which I know is the worst thing I have done for this situation, now the other issue I have about 7TB of data on this machine which again don't have any backup again my mistake and one of the worst ones, so I am thinking if I do use a new installer is there a way to import the old ZFS pool, or somehow just repair the Boot file? as i am trying to use this opportunity and see how. default or easy is to fix this kind of issue in Truenas.

Yes - you can import your existing pool after a fresh OS install. This is one of the great strengths of TrueNAS/ZFS, so you are good there.

If you do that and successfully import your pool, provided that your system dataset is on your pool (that you did not move it to your boot drive after you created your fist pool) it's likely that we can recover your configuration from its automatic backup location on your data pool. So, come back here and advise when you have imported your datapool into a fresh install of TrueNAS and we'll help you see if we can go find your configuration file.

great thanks i will do that and let you know once it's completed, just to confirm I just need to install the new installer normally? when I am doing that it's saying it will wipe the data! or i can ignore that

Yes, it will tell you that it is going to do that to the boot drive.

Just to be sure, why don't you disconnect your hard drives so that they cannot possibly be written to? Then make the new boot drive.

good news just manage to reinstall the new installer and imported the Pool and it's imported everything all the plugins and all of the data which is great so i didn't lost anything just few settings like local user accounts but it's great that with just importing the pool it's fixed everything
