no mail report RC1

I made a fresh install of RC1. Set up the mail settings, getting the test mail, but not getting the daily status mail update. Is there another setting for this? I can't find it.

are you using gmail? If you can receive the test email using ssl and port 465, change your port to 587 but leave ssl enabled. it's a weird bug

I'm not using gmail. I have my hosted by one.com, with my own domain.

Problem solved. you're post about port change and ssl made me think. I switched to plain, and voila. I got a mail at 3 tonight :)

But it still doesn't explain why I'm getting the test mail with TLS enabled.

Yes, that is still a mystery for a lot of us, you would expect that if it works with the test email than it should work ALL the time without the need to switch settings...
