Hello

I set the GUI to https and an other port. it work's fine. But now i wanted a own certificate.
I created a certificate with a Debian System. Afterwards i copied the public and private part to the GUI. Then I restart the NAS.
Now i can't get to the GUI. I tried the original IP and port, it didn't work. I also tried the IP and Port from the shell screen. it didn't work too.
I have physical access and can login to the shell. But my shell user can't get su.

Thanks for the Help

I had this same issue. I then restore to default checked my key and cert again and noticed i had used the ENCRYPTED key instead of DE crypted. I changed the key to decrypted and saved and everything worked fine. Dunno if this is your issue but worth checking.

Did this solve your issue? Also if you want good certificates you can get free class 1 verified certificates from startssl.com.

I created a certificate on a Debian host after this compendium.
Than I removed the pass phrase from the key like described.
Afterwards I copied the content of the file to the GUI field.
