been doing quite a bit of reading on this over the last few weeks.. I finally found this:

I followed the instructions and it is working for me now. However when I set it up I used DuckDNS. I am thinking of getting my own URL.
it looks like I will need to change a couple config files int he that script. but what else will I need to switch in order to allow Next Cloud to work properly. I am sure there is a way to do it, I am still a newbie and learning as I go
